six a.m. [poetry]

[A poem for a change, instead of the usual photos. I’ve been struggling with a most resilient form of writer’s block lately and have been writing short poems in an attempt to find a remedy. It feels like taking baby steps into the world of writing again. Hope you all like it — feedback is most welcome! More short poems to come~]

small quake

rustle of skin on a cold floor

eyes accept sunlight

lace fighting reality

a warm hollow left vacant

a thigh unguarded

coffee pot

like his voice

throaty and quiet

“Morning, sunshine.”

the bed is full again
